Theos Recipes is an independent recipe website maintained by Theo Baschak. For corrections or questions about the site, use the project’s GitHub issue tracker.

Unless a page says otherwise, recipes and recipe photographs are shared under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. You may share and adapt this material under that license’s terms, including giving appropriate credit and indicating changes. The complete license is available in LICENSE-recipes.

The website’s source code is separate from its recipes and photographs and is made available under the MIT License; see LICENSE-code.

Recipe information is provided for general use. Ingredients, equipment, and results can vary; use your judgment about food safety, allergies, and dietary needs.

Privacy policy

This policy explains what information may be handled when you visit Theos Recipes. The site is a static recipe website. It has no visitor accounts, comment system, contact form, or advertising, and it does not use analytics to track visits.

Hosting

The site is hosted with Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare may process technical information associated with requests, such as IP address, requested page or file, and browser and network information. Cloudflare describes its handling of this information in its Privacy Policy. We do not control Cloudflare’s infrastructure or retention practices.

Recipe search runs in your browser using a search index downloaded from this site. If you submit a search, the terms appear in the requested URL and are sent through the hosting provider with that page request. Search terms are not saved by the site in an account or profile.

Cookies and local storage

The site’s pages and scripts do not set cookies or store information in browser local storage. Cloudflare may use technical measures as part of delivering or protecting its services; see Cloudflare’s privacy information linked above for its practices.

Information you choose to share

This site does not provide a form for submitting personal information. If you contact the maintainer through GitHub, the information you provide is handled by GitHub under its own privacy policy. Links to other external sites are also subject to those sites’ privacy practices.
